The Smartbike SportMed Edition is the result of the collaboration between manufacturer ZYCLE and the SportMed Institute. This ‘SportMed Approved’ custom-made smartbike is 100% compatible with the unique SportMed test and training method and the SportMed Online app (SPOL). It can therefore be used both as a training bike (interactive with the SPOL app - or other apps) but also - and this is currently the only one on the market - as a test ergometer, so that you can now take the SportMed IANT test at home (see ‘SportMed@HOME - FITT for CYCLING’ for more information) and your SportMed Cycle-coach can guide and monitor you remotely.
Features
A brief selection of the possibilities of the Smartbike SportMed Edition:
- Unique electromagnetic brake system with ergometer function (5% accuracy)
- up to 850 Watt load at 90 rpm and even up to 2000 Watt at 120 revolutions
- infinitely variable adjustment of the resistance or the load
- Drive via V-belt (making it completely silent)
- Gear buttons (for controlling the resistance) on the handlebars so that you can shift like with an electric groupset on a racing bike or gravel bike.
- USB charging port
- Position can be perfectly adjusted to your body (up to a body length of approx. 200 cm)
- BLE and ANT+ compatible (therefore also compatible with most fitness apps such as FulGaz, Zwift, Kinomap, Whoosh, ... - trial subscriptions are included)
- Weight: 50kg - easy to move thanks to the mounted wheels
- Load capacity: 120 kg
- No digital display - all data is visible via the app on your phone or tablet
